At Oneplay, we take transparency seriously. The integrity of every draw is key to building trust with our players. That’s why we’re walking you through how the Oneplay draw works from start to finish.
1. You Buy a Ticket
Every time you dial your station’s USSD code or buy a ticket on the Oneplay website, your phone number and transaction are logged in our secure system. Whether you buy one ticket or ten, each ticket counts as a unique entry with its own ID.
2. The Presenter Goes Live on Air
During each show, the radio presenter logs into the draw system using secure credentials. They can only view entry counts and ticket data — no personal names or phone numbers are shown at this stage.
3. The Draw is Conducted Using Our Randomizer Tool
When it’s time for a draw, the presenter hits the “Draw Winner” button. Our verified randomizer instantly selects one ticket ID from the pool of valid entries for that show or jackpot.
This is a secure, system-generated process. No one can manipulate it. Even the presenter doesn’t know who will be picked until the draw happens.
4. The Winner’s Number is Revealed
After the draw, the selected ticket ID is matched to the phone number linked to it. The presenter sees the number and calls it live on air.
If the winner answers and confirms, that’s it.
If they do not pick up after multiple tries, another draw is conducted immediately.
5. Prize Delivery is Logged and Tracked
Once the winner has been contacted on air, our payment team reaches out within 24 hours to verify their details.
- If the player used the Oneplay website, their wallet is credited after verification.
- If the player used USSD, their bank account details are collected and a bank transfer is processed within 72 hours.
All transactions are logged in our system, and no prizes are paid out on air or through presenters. This helps us keep the process clean, secure, and well-documented.
Can Oneplay Staff Pick Winners Manually?
No.
The presenter cannot see who is in the draw list and cannot influence the randomizer. Our team has no way to pre-pick or skip entries. The draw tool was built specifically to eliminate bias and ensure trust.
